Habakkuk 2:2-5 tells us “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. “Indeed, because he transgresses by wine, He is a proud man, And he does not stay at home. Because he enlarges his desire as heel, And he is like death, and cannot be satisfied, He gathers to himself all nations, And heaps up for himself all peoples.
God gave Reverend
Smith a vision to birth Source of Hope Ministries in July of 2005. The
vision was received through consistent reaffirmations and the plans were
made plain under the direction of the Holy Spirit. The Source of Hope for
the world today is still Jesus the Christ. As He delivers our purpose
according to Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy
Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and
lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen
There are still many souls to reach and God has designated Gainesville as the birthing ground for Source of Hope. On September 10, 2006, Reverend Veronica Smith became the Pastor of Source of Hope Christian Ministry. She is committed to doing what the Lord has ordained her to be a Pastor; it is a personal mandate for her to led by love and not by force so that many will come and receive Gods saving grace.
