What We Believe

At Source of Hope, we believe that our mission is to be the arms of God for our community.  We seek to nurture and strengthen the faith and commitment to our members, and to spread the good news of God's love and forgiveness to our community.  We are committed to living our faith and teaching by example.  We believe that God has given each one of us gifts to be used for the building up of His church and for the common good.  We pray for each other and care for each other.  We enjoy worshipping together to glorify God with our praise and with our response of service in the mission of His church.  We affirm the following beliefs and values:

• We believe that the Bible is God's Word to us and is our authoritative standard
• Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world
• Teach and train others to be disciples of Jesus Christ
• Look after one another on our faith journey
• Develop strong lay leadership

• Constantly expand our services to our community and to the world through mission outreach
• We value people because they are valued by God
• We value a supportive church family atmosphere
